Thoughts on Change

The recent earthquake in China is of such a sudden that no one expects such immense casualty.

The PRC-Taiwan resuming talk is an expected one for changes of the Strait relations

The Three -Self church and House church relationships are still intense among certain regions of China that for quite a long period of time it will hardly lead to a breakthrough

Changes are of such varying phenomena that man can not speak to its fullness.

But as Christians we have certain changes that are significant and awaits deep thoughts:

1. Change of a master-- We are in Christ and not in sin (II Cor 5:17)
2. Change of our identity-- We are the People of God (I Peter 2:9)
3. Change of our home -- We are not of this world (Phil 3:20)
4. Change of our behavior -- We are to put on new man (Eph 4:22)
5. Change of our mind -- We are to be renewed in thoughts (Roman 12:1-2)
6. Change of our body -- We have to be resurrected and have an entire new body (I Cor 15:51-52)
7. Change of our destiny -- We are to be in new heaven and earth someday (Rev 21:1)

We have to face changes daily and rejoice in it.
