On Top of Integrity & Skills

After my thoughts on integrity & skills,I found there's one more aspect which's important for our dealing with people and that's humor.

Beyond our squarely inner integrity and our gentle outward relationships,an important link of the two is humor. A man of humor is a good greasing agent among conflicts and strict rules & high standards.

In our pastoral ministry it's the proper use of humor which can solve difficult situations and bring foes into friends. Knowing how to laugh at oneself and admit mistakes is a high way of changing a tense situation.

The Lord's servants need to be gentle in words and still stick to high biblical standards. When someone accused Jesus being friend of sinners and knew only eating and drinking,Jesus did not retort but kept calm. He rather adopted parables to teach and let people know by themselves. Parables are indirect ways of presenting truths and can most of the time include humors into such use.

The wealthy cannot enter Kingdom easily just like a donkey passing through a needle hole.

What an immense contrast and funny way of highlighting an impossibility ?

What a sarcastic way of telling the truth ?
