Victorious Christian Service

I reread Alan Redpath's book on the Victorious Christian Service this morning and reflected upon Nehemiah's life and service.

On page 171 there is the following paragraph:

Let the principle be recognized that the most obscure task in the service of the King of kings is as important as the most public one when it is done in the will of God.

Let there therefore be neither strife, nor envy, nor contempt, nor ill will between those who are the valiant men holding key positions and those who are doing the unseen, the unrecognized, unreported tasks.

Both are needful, both are useful, both are dependent upon each other, and neither can be spared.

It's such a great reminder for our continual dedication to the Lord.
