1. Spend time helping people less fortunate than you.
2. Ask people to tell you about the happiest moments in their life.
3. Think about the things that people do for which you are profoundly grateful.
4. Focus on the good news stories, the stories of great kindness and virtuous actions.
5. Spend time with children.
6. Encourage faith in your fellow humans through your actions.
7. Remember that you too form part of humanity.
8. Take time in nature and take time in stillness, preferably at start and end of day.
